Thomas Brasch’s Oculus series speaks to how we see and perceive beauty and how we comprehend and interpret these abstract images – drawn from natural sources that surround us. Through the use of digital manipulation, an abstract element is added to chosen landscape and still life images.
The Oculus series is tied together by the similarities in the source material often a contrast of colours and a pattern of primitive textures created by organic and inorganic elements.
Thomas Brasch is a Toronto based photographer who’s work is featured in private collections.
