Brian Bean

Originally influenced by the works of Karl Blossfeldt and past photographic processes, Brian’s interpretation of botanicals began to take on their own personality by introducing warm, creamy tones, limited palettes and compelling compositions.
Almost meditative, these botanical images reflect on the sensual and subtle characteristics of plant-life. Sometimes architectural, sometimes soft and dream- like, these photos offer an opportunity to contemplate the inspiring beauty of Nature.
Brian Bean is a graphic designer and photographer. He has exhibited his work locally since 2006. His work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout Canada.
